PROJECT: Poetry Debut

On this project I collaborated with an oil painter, Nadia Hussain, to help bring to life the poet's vision for her novel.
you can see examples of the original illustrations sent to me by the oil painter. My role was to vectorise all her sketches (for the cover and illustrated pages inside) and compose the book sleeve that would be sent to the manufacturing company for printing and publishing.
We had a month to get this completed by and successfully finished the original brief 1 week ahead of time. This job required a lot of creative problem solving with technical issues to ensure all artwork remained true to the original penmanship.

this is one of my background passion projects. TARGETED for young and new muslims to deliver teachings of faith, practicals and islamic JURISPRUDENCE in a visually engaging manner and a plot following the journey of a young girl who sets off on an adventure in a hot air balloon made of clouds. including dragons, castles and a chunky cat.
